Service Profile
Hamilton is situated on the western end of Lake Ontario. Currently, the Hamilton Police Service provides policing services to about 528,000 residents (Source: City's Growth Related Integrated Development Strategy: Growth Report).
In 2007, we deployed 761 police officers and 267 civilian members and responded to over 85,000 calls for service. Our operating budget for 2007 was $117,519,150.
