Astronomy: Coming to a Backyard Near You
Have you ever wondered where meteors come from? Or what that really bright star is? Are you curious about the night sky? Then come join us for "Astronomy 101", an introduction to some of the astronomical phenomena visible right from your backyard. We will explore topics such as which planets are visible to the naked eye, the origins of meteor showers, and solar and lunar eclipses. We will also take a look at some of the constellations and learn a few tricks to finding them, as well as famous stars and other interesting objects in the night sky.
