The Study
The City of Hamilton has initiated the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process for the City Wide through Truck Routes and traffic patterns. A comprehensive study of the existing trucking routes, traffic patterns as well as truck interactions with other modes of transportation, businesses and residents of the City of Hamilton has been undertaken in order to determine if the truck routes need to be changed, and if so, how and to where.
The City is now ready to present its preferred alternative and alternatives’ evaluation for public input, including the proposed removal of the truck route on Dundurn Street North between York Blvd and King Street West. Your feedback on this is important.
If you require further information, have any questions or comments or wish to be added to the study mailing list, please visit the City website, contact the Public Works Department, or the Senior Project Manager, via the following means:

Public meetings are also being held at other locations on November 12, December 2 and 10. See the website for location information.
