Expert on Dead Sea Scrolls to give Goldblatt Lecture at McMaster

The 2009 Lillian and Marvin Goldblatt Lecture in Jewish Studies will bring to McMaster University one of the world’s foremost experts in the Dead Sea Scrolls, Professor Lawrence H. Schiffman, to explore what the Dead Sea Scrolls have contributed to our understanding of the Bible and its interpretation. The lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 8:00 pm in Convocation Hall, 2nd floor, University Hall. The Goldblatt lectures are free and open to the public.
