Graffiti Day Sept. 20-06

Dear members:
The AWWCA has once again teamed up with the Hamilton Police Service and other community partners to organize a Graffiti Day. It will take place Wednesday September 20 from 3 to 6 p.m. We will meet on the lawn of TD Canada Trust in Westdale. Our feature event this year is the revitalization of an alleyway. Volunteers will be involved in a paint-over. A general cleanup of litter and graffiti will be conducted at the same time by another team of volunteers. The day will end with a community barbecue. Please reserve this time to attend our second annual Graffiti Day.
We are urgently looking for an experienced painter who would be able to spend 30 minutes consulting with us about the paint-over. This will ensure we buy an appropriate volume of the right paint. We would also ask the person to supervise the paint-over on Sept 20. If you or your family member has these skills and is able to contribute to the event, please call or e-mail me at your earliest convenience.
